Lunchbox Makeover
Am I so "mommish" now that I had to make over my son's preschool lunchbox? Yes, yes I am.
That and I don't like things to look boring or have a huge logo on the front. This was my old lunch box from when I was teaching and I wanted to boy it up. See... blah.
Nothing a little fabric and vinyl can't fix. I used blue iron-on vinyl and cut out my son's name from my trusty Silhouette. You could easily use an Exacto for this step. I found this awesome truck in the Silhouette online store.
I used yellow jersey knit and I ironed interfacing to the back for stability.
Then I arranged the name and truck and ironed them on according to the directions from the vinyl packet.
Then pinned and sewed.
He loves school, and his "truck lunchbox" :)
That is absolutely adorable!
